I actually had nails twice as long as these ones in the video in September 2020 ( ) and all I did was follow these same tips + my genetics. @Moon_lightyo1 don’t hate them, it’s better having long ones so you can change it up however you like! Try to convince her, but if she doesn’t listen, you cut them and say they chipped off and you have to file them down loll😭👑

@hend amri I used to do that but since I’m a swimmer my nails still bend from the top but because of covid restrictions where I live I have taken a break from swimming so now my nails have recovered but when I go back to swimming I just know it will happen all over again

As someone who has bit her nails her entire life and now even my nails beds are tiny, this was very helpful! I also LOVE the nail episode before this, the nail design because I can do it in my own sort of way so its not as difficult !

Yeah I couldn’t grow mine out cuz I play violin and piano. But during the summer I grew them out. To me, it’s not really worth it though due to all the bacteria and dirt that constantly gets stuck under your nails, and it also makes everyday task needlessly difficult.

I didn’t finish the video yet, so I don’t know if she mentioned this, but you shouldn’t get a lot of acrylics or gel done/file or buff your nail a lot (file in sense of the main part, not the part of the nail that grows out) buffing takes away layers of the nail, making them extremely brittle and weak. If your nails are yellow, it is nothing to worry about except if it’s also at/in your cuticle. Mostly yellow nails are just the result of wearing a lot of dark polish that stains the nail.
