I’m counting the days until everyone realizes that hard stripes of contour, blush, and highlight with a glowing dot on the end of your nose looks insane.
@lernyl It’s been a long time I know but I have a downturned hooked tip. I like to add a little dot of highlight after I contour my nose slightly higher up so I can create an illusion of a more lifted tip and I like how it looks. I make sure to use a small amount and blend it well so it’s subtle. I like it but I get it’s not for everyone. It’s cool to learn makeup theory to avoid mistakes but I feel it’s always a good idea to be open minded and try new things out for the fun of it even if they go against the classic look.
Wow, I didn’t realize that people would get so triggered over this comment! That’s why I hate giving any kind of opinion online, because there will always be a group of people who freak out about it.
@Kamryn Trammell Art may be subjective, but there are still rules one must follow in order to achieve something beautiful. You can do your makeup however you want, but it doesn’t mean it will look good. That’s why makeup artists are trained in various techniques and methods- so that they don’t make their clients look ridiculous!! I don’t care what people do, honestly, but I can’t stand it when people tell me that makeup has no rules or makeup is whatever you make it. People need to learn how to find suitable colors to match and flatter their skin tone, they need to learn how to properly blend, they need to learn that heavy application is not attractive in real life, etc.
It looks ugly. So ugly honestly. I wholeheartedly believe in his “makeup has a theory” statement.

I had been following robert’s and hindash’s tutorials for months because i had my wedding coming up and wanted to do my wedding makeup myself..on my wedding day wheni did my makeup i looked stunning and nobody could believe i did my makeup myself because it looked so professional 😍 i was so happy and feel so proud of myself whenever i look through my wedding photo album 😚😚 thank you soooo much you two for all the advice and pro tips they really helped and made my wedding day fuss/panic free! ❤ ❤ also a thank you to james welsh as i had been taking his skincare tips too 😘
